About Everson
Everson and its twin, Nooksack, sit on the Nooksack River twenty minutes east of Bellingham where the farmland starts to tilt toward Mt. Baker. Founded around an 1880s ferry landing, Everson has stayed small (about 3,000) and affordable — the county's entry point for first homes and acreage.
The November 2021 flood reshaped the town and its market: elevated lots and homes off the valley floor now carry a premium, and every buyer asks about flood history first. Housing is 1900s–70s homes in town, 1990s–2010s small plats, and hobby farms on 1–20 acres along Mission and Everson-Goshen roads.
